GENERAL DESCRIPTION: If you enjoy a dynamic, challenge-driven atmosphere where every day is different, this is the perfect role for you! As an Administrative Support Specialist at North River Boats, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to support daily operations, including managing travel, inventory, motor orders, and account maintenance.
This role offers opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute to projects that support business success. You’ll coordinate logistics, contracts, and vendor relationships while developing new skills along the way. Plus, with our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), you’ll have a direct stake in the company’s success.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account Management: Maintain and manage online commercial accounts and contracts (e.g., GSA, HUBZone, SAM.gov), oversee trademark renewals, and deliver regular reports on purchasing and forecasting.
- Travel & Event Coordination: Manage travel logistics, including booking accommodations, transportation, tradeshow contracts, registrations, packing and freight arrangements. Occasionally available for inquiries or urgent needs on weekends.
- Motor Order Management: Oversee motor orders, address issues, and ensure projects meet timelines and best practices.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (AS NEEDED):
- Product Sourcing & Vendor Support: Assist with sourcing specialty products and contribute to new product development and building vendor partnerships.
- Admin Support: Provide administrative support for tasks such as pricing updates, rebate programs, recreational costing, and account maintenance.
- Dealer & IT Support: Coordinate with dealers on contract management, point of contact updates, and work with IT to resolve any technical issues.
- Office Assistant: Assist with tasks as requested by coworkers to support overall office operations.
- Apparel and online store: Provide assistance and support to help manage apparel and online store orders and inventory as needed.
- Any and all other duties for the betterment of the company.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Assist the fabrication department by efficiently producing the highest quality boat hulls to be used in the manufacturing of North River boats
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fit and weld boat hulls using proper welding techniques
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately with precision and in a timely manner to keep production running smoothly
- Use electric, air and hand tools required to perform job tasks with efficiency and care
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Must use proper safety equipment for every specific task
- Maintain a high level of quality
- Work to maintain a productive and positive work environment by proactively communicating with your lead and other leads/supervisors in the fabrication department
- Perform all other duties as assigned and appropriate to position
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have working knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Must have training and/or experience of aluminum welding techniques
- Must be able to properly use all the equipment in the Boat Building department
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with all levels of personnel
- Must maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Must maintain an above average attendance record
Physical Requirements of the job:
- Lift up to 80lbs max on occasion
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand, walk, kneel, crawl and crouch inside tight boat spaces throughout a 10-hour day

General Description:
Candidate will perform installation of outfitting components on North River Boats according to standard build sheets and work orders. Outfitting components include but are not limited to, outboard motors, controls, inboard motors, jet drives, deck hardware, fuel tanks, electronics, upholstery and canvas. Most of the necessary training will happen on the job. A good candidate will have a level of mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve. Extra consideration will be given to candidates who have experience in the marine industry, automotive mechanics, and basic DC wiring systems.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Proper Installation of all outfitting components including, but not limited to; outboard motors, controls, inboard motors, jet drives, deck hardware, fuel tanks, electronics, upholstery and canvas
- Read and understand all aspects of standard build sheets and work orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain a high level of quality
- Must use proper safety equipment based on the job being performed
- Be accurate and organized
- Work to maintain a productive and positive work environment by proactively communicating with your Team, Outfitting Supervisor and Outfitting Manager.
- Understand basic measurements/Basic math skills
- Perform all other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position
Requirements for the job:
- Must understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Must be familiar with the workings of all electric, pneumatic, and hand tools
- Must have all required hand tools outlined on tool list provided at interview.
- Must work well in a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at any given time
